About the Policy Committee

The Policy Committee (a standing committee UNO Faculty Council) represents the faculty as an advisory committee to the Chancellor, making recommendations and stating faculty viewpoints concerning the policies and proposed policies of UNO. It also functions as a committee on committees and makes recommendations to the Chancellor concerning the selection of individual faculty members whom the Chancellor will appoint to the various University standing committees.
